The application, which must be stamped to the rate of 65 øre, must be accompanied by the vessel's certificate of measurement or certificate of nationality and registration. The yacht flag confers no privileges whatsoever on the vessel with regard to port and ship dues. Permission to fly the yacht flag, which is valid only until the vessel changes owner and which must be kept on board and presented on request by the competent authorities, is forfeited when the vessel is not used exclusively for pleasure sailing.
