Magnification/lens 7x50 The image is 7 times larger than what the naked eye sees. 7x is the recommended magnification for marine binoculars. The second number, 50, indicates the lens diameter. The higher the number, the better the light transmission. This is an advantage in poor light. For marine use, a 50 mm lens is recommended.

BK-7 Prism Borosilicate prism material of class B. Has good ability to transmit light and image from the objective lens, through the prisms to the eyepiece and out to the eye.

Field of view: 6.6 The field of view in degrees indicates the width of the image that can be seen at a distance of 1000 meters. A field of view of 6.6º gives a width of 115 m at a distance of 1000 meters.

Full coated Allows 84% light transmission.
