Description

This stainless steel exhaust elbow is developed as a replacement for selected Volvo Penta diesel engines and is used in the engine’s exhaust system. It ensures stable and safe discharge of exhaust gases under demanding marine conditions.
The construction is made of stainless steel, providing high heat resistance and significantly better corrosion protection than traditional cast iron elbows. This reduces the risk of corrosion and extends the component’s service life.
The elbow is designed for direct installation on compatible Volvo Penta engines and fits without modification. It is used together with existing exhaust hoses and gaskets and is suitable for both repair and preventive replacement.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE The engine must be cold before installation. Remove the existing exhaust elbow. Clean the mating surfaces and install the elbow with the correct gasket. Tighten according to the manufacturer’s instructions and check for leaks after startup.
