Battery life: VT20M can be used to transmit and talk for 5 minutes and to receive and listen for 5 minutes, and then on standby for 90 minutes, it can be used for 8 hours. Standby mode means turning on the radio without transmitting or receiving, and VT20M can do this for 24 hours. Before use: The battery must be fully charged before use, which takes 8-9 hours, and the VHF radio must be switched off during charging.
