B&G H5000 3D motion sensor is an advanced motion sensor that compensates for heel and boat movement. It gathers data from multiple sensors, including the gyrocompass, to ensure accurate wind measurements.

Wind measurement is affected by heel and the boat's movement, which distorts wind readings from the masthead. The solution to this problem is motion correction from a 3D motion sensor. The H5000 gathers its data from multiple sensors, including the gyrocompass, to compensate for wind caused by the boat's movement and to provide the best wind solution you can get from an instrument system.
