Stainless steel fork terminal from Blue Wave.
A terminal is used to secure the end of a steel wire so that the wire can only move in one direction. It can, for example, be used functionally to fasten a structure, or architecturally for display purposes. In addition, they can be used to secure a mast in so-called stays, to stabilize the mast and thus the boat.
Terminals are swaged onto the steel wire, meaning that a tool is used to clamp the terminal around the steel wire to secure it to an anchoring point.
Danish Blue Wave manufactures its products from a block of stainless steel, meaning there are no welds and their products can therefore withstand additional load.
