Stainless steel threaded terminal from Blue Wave.
A terminal is used to secure the end of a steel wire so that the wire can only move in one direction. It can, for example, be used functionally; to secure a structure, or architecturally; for display purposes. In addition, they can be used to secure a mast in so-called stages, to stabilise the mast and thereby the boat.
Terminals are swaged onto the steel wire, i.e. using a tool, the terminal is clamped around the steel wire to secure it to an anchor point.
Danish Blue Wave manufactures its products from a solid steel block, meaning there are no welds and their products can therefore withstand additional load.
