Stainless steel threaded terminal from Blue Wave.
A terminal is used to hold the end of a steel wire in place, so that the wire can only move in one direction. It can, for example, be used functionally to secure a structure, or architecturally for display purposes. In addition, they can be used to secure a mast in so-called shrouds, to stabilize the mast and thus the boat.
Terminals are swaged firmly around the steel wire, meaning that a tool is used to compress the terminal around the steel wire to secure it to an anchoring point.
Danish Blue Wave manufactures its products from a solid steel block, meaning there are no welds and therefore their products can withstand additional load.
