Stainless steel threaded terminal from Blue Wave.
A terminal is used to secure the end of a steel wire so that the wire can only move in one direction. For example, it can be used functionally to secure a structure, or architecturally for display purposes. In addition, they can be used to secure a mast in so-called shrouds, to stabilize the mast and thereby the boat.
Terminals are swaged onto the steel wire, i.e. using a tool you clamp the terminal around the steel wire to secure it to an anchoring point.
Danish Blue Wave manufactures its products from a solid block of steel, meaning there are no welds, and their products can therefore withstand additional load.
