Blue Wave Smart pin Ø3.2mm is designed to protect sails from razor-sharp split pins. It is secured to the turnbuckle and can easily be removed and refitted without tools, making it easier to adjust and tune the rig.

Why not avoid wrapping the turnbuckles in tape to protect the sails from being torn by the often razor-sharp split pins. The split pins are firmly attached to the turnbuckle and can be quickly removed and refitted without the use of tools when the rig needs to be adjusted and tuned.
