Description
Blue Wave turnbuckle fork/terminal 3 mm is a turnbuckle made of AISI 316 stainless steel. It is used to secure and tension a wire rope, as well as to stabilize the mast by fastening it to stays.

A turnbuckle is used to secure and tension a wire rope so that the wire can only move in one direction. In addition, they can be used to fasten a mast to so-called stays, to stabilize the mast and thereby the boat.
You unscrew the fork and terminal from each other and tighten them with a nut. Then mount it in the desired place and tighten the turnbuckle by inserting a thin screwdriver or similar through the small hole in the middle and turning until the wire is fully tensioned.
Blue Wave in Denmark manufactures its products from a solid steel block, meaning there are no welds and their products can therefore withstand extra load.
