All Den Haan lamps are stove-enamelled for easier maintenance. However, if the lamps are used in a humid environment, they should be cleaned regularly with water and wiped dry. Particular attention should be paid to corners and folded edges, where moisture can penetrate under the paint. When using oil lamps, discoloration of the parts heated strongly by the burner should be expected.
