All DL trailer winches are TUFFPLATE zinc treated as standard. The zinc-treated yellow chromate “TUFFPLATE” design is 3 times more resistant than normal zinc-treated winches and is 30% better protected against corrosion. All winches without a return brake allow freewheeling on the drum when the pawl is not engaged.
