Le Tonkinois is a linseed oil-based varnish that provides outstanding and lasting protection for wood and metal. The varnish gives long-lasting protection against UV rays and follows the movement of the wood as temperature and humidity change. Long-lasting protection against wear, including on decks and flooring, and is resistant to oil and chemicals.

The properties of the linseed oil varnish provide excellent protection both indoors and outdoors. It is economical in use; 1 l covers approx. 16 m2 on untreated surfaces and approx. 20 m2 on treated surfaces.

Le Tonkinois linseed oil varnish is dust dry after 2 hours, handleable after 8 hours, and ready for overcoating after 24 hours. Intermediate sanding after 2-3 coats. The varnish contains or emits no harmful substances. Approved according to SS-EN 71-3:1994, SP metod1598.
