Quicksilver 18458Q4 is a water-separating fuel filter designed for Mercury and Mariner V-6 EFI/DFI outboards from 1996 and newer. The filter includes a water sensor unit with a blue plastic sensor to monitor fuel quality.

Water-separating canister element with o-ring and water sensor unit. For all 1996 and newer Mercury and Mariner V6 EFI outboards. Note that the sensor plus is blue plastic. Check your owner's manual for inspection and replacement intervals.
