Fits a Volvo Penta model
The 12-volt, 65 amp alternator 8M6007493 is for use on various Volvo-Penta sterndrive and inboard engines. Replaces OEM alternators: J & N400-46004, -23LESTER12391, -2MANDOAC165622VALEOTA000B53101VOLVO3860082, -798. This new replacement alternator meets or exceeds original manufacturer specifications and original equipment output. Units are engineered and built with coated fans, pulleys, and hardware to resist corrosion in harsh environments. These alternators are built with flame arrestor screens that meet Marine SAEJ1171 certification. Included wiring harness, as required by the specific applications, allows for easy installation. Refer to your owner's manual or service manual for specific application and installation instructions.
