The through-deck block guides control lines safely through the deck, mast or boom on smaller boats and provides stable line routing during changes of direction. It is an effective choice for control systems where low friction is important. The sheave is moulded in acetal and runs on stainless steel or Torlon® ball bearings. This gives smooth operation and reduced friction as lines pass through through-deck fittings under load. The block is used in systems such as cunningham, outhaul and other control lines where the line needs to exit the mast or boom at a controlled angle. It works with thin control lines in lightweight rigging setups.
INSTRUCTIONS Install in a suitable through-deck fitting. Use correctly sized line and check regularly for wear. Replace if there are signs of damage.
