The Ronstan Intermediate car is designed for use with mainsails and the mast. It allows the sail to be fitted and removed quickly and easily using the patented Ballslide™ system.

Fast, simple and reliable. The patented Ronstan Ballslide™ system uses the existing track groove in the mast. It is therefore not necessary to install a track. Ballslide™ cars have so-called "captive ball bearings," which means that the balls remain in the car even when the car is not mounted, and it can therefore easily be removed and fitted onto the mast when the mainsail is to be installed.
