E1 Electric Winches let you hoist and trim sails of any size at the push of a button. They remove the need for physical strength, making it possible for any crew member to control lines and sails easily and safely.

Easy installation: Internal contactors and controller, with no need for a separate control box, mean a more reliable, neater, and simpler installation. Simplified electrical installation requires only connecting the positive and negative power cables to the motor terminals and connecting the pushbutton using the included output cable. Marine switches are also available for protection and isolation.

An efficient high-quality motor: At the heart of the E1 winch is a high-quality, European-designed and manufactured series-wound motor. Carefully matched with the optimal gearbox, they deliver high speed under low load for fast retrieval and low speed under high load for safe fine trimming. They are available in 12 Volt and 24 Volt models, providing smooth and quiet operation across a wide working load range.

"Smart" pushbutton: E1 winches come with a pushbutton with integrated LED that lights up when power to the winch system is turned on. The pushbutton has a hinged safety cover to prevent accidental winch operation and is waterproof to IP67. The pushbutton also works with the control unit to flash status codes that help with troubleshooting in the event of overload or when another system protection intervention occurs. A cable for connecting the pushbutton is included for easy installation.

Unmatched level of monitoring and protection:

• Integrated overload protection – The controller is preset to stop the winch system if the maximum pulling load is exceeded. Operation can be resumed within a few seconds once the load returns below the limit.
• Thermal overload protection – The motor is equipped with a thermal cut-out that deactivates the motor in the event of overheating; it resets automatically when the temperature returns to normal.
• Reverse polarity protection – An integrated 5 Amp fuse protects the motor against incorrect cable connection.
• Accidental start protection – Winch operation is disabled if the pushbutton is pressed accidentally when the power supply is switched on at the switch or battery.
• Low voltage detection – Operation is disabled if the battery charge level is low, preventing further battery discharge and avoiding triggering low-voltage reset on navigation instruments and other electronic devices.
• Continuous run time limit – Operation is disabled if continuous operating time exceeds 10 minutes.
