Compact charge controller for wind generator and solar panels with automatic 12/24 V selection and effective battery protection LONG DESCRIPTION This charge controller is designed for smaller marine energy systems where a wind generator and solar panels work together to charge one battery bank. It ensures stable charging and protects batteries and electronics from overcharging. The controller uses PWM technology with an intelligent microcontroller that monitors battery voltage and continuously regulates the charging output. When the battery approaches full charge, the current is automatically reduced to float charging, extending the life of both the battery and the wind generator. It is intended for use with Rutland wind generators and can also accept input from solar panels up to 160 W.
