Star Brite Waterproofing treatment with PTEF® is the most effective way to keep the material water-repellent with PTEF® non-stick coating. PTEF® polymers repel moisture and harmful UV rays and prevent rot and fading of the fabric. PTEF® is Star Brite's registered trademark for polytetrafluoroethylene.
Waterproofing treatment with PTEF® can be used on tarps, fabrics, tents, canvas, nylon, Sunbrella® fabric and leather. If the product is applied to the fabric when new, it will keep the fabric usable for longer.
Application 1. If the material to be treated is dirty, clean it with Star brite® FABRIC CLEANER & PROTECTANT W/PTEF®. The material must be dry before treatment. 2. Spray on Waterproofing and use a brush or sponge on the surface. Do not spray excessively. 3. Allow to dry for 6 hours after treatment. The material must be completely dry before it is folded or used.
Use only in a well-ventilated area. The bottle is unique and biodegradable.
