Description
Trudesign Anti-siphon is a valve that prevents siphoning in the hoses. It is mounted at the highest point and allows air to enter, breaking the water column and protecting the boat from water ingress.

To avoid siphoning in the hoses, an anti-siphon valve must be installed on both the inlet and outlet hose. The valve is mounted at the highest point and allows air to enter the hose when it is not under pressure.
The air forms a small pocket in the hose, breaking the water column in the hose and preventing water from entering the boat.
