Description
Stainless steel AISI 316 turnbuckle designed to secure and tension a wire rope. It is used to stabilize the mast by fastening it to the so-called shrouds, ensuring the boat's stability.

A turnbuckle is used to secure and tension a wire rope so that the wire can only move in one direction. In addition, they can be used to fasten a mast to the so-called shrouds, stabilizing the mast and thus the boat.
You unscrew the two "forks" from each other and tighten them with a nut. Then mount it in the desired location and tighten the turnbuckle by inserting a thin screwdriver or similar through the small hole in the middle and turning until the wire rope is fully tensioned.
