Victron Cyrix-CT is an intelligent battery coupling device that uses microprocessor control to optimize power distribution between battery banks. Instead of diode isolators, which cause voltage drop, the Cyrix-CT automatically connects the batteries when charging is available and disconnects them when the voltage drops to a critical level. This ensures maximum efficiency and extends battery life. The relay is compatible with both 12V and 24V systems and can handle a current of up to 230A, making it ideal for larger marine installations, motorhomes, and off-grid systems. Cyrix-CT requires no extra cables for control signals, as it detects voltage levels directly from the batteries. The unit has a built-in delay function that prevents unnecessary switching during brief voltage changes, as well as a priority function that ensures correct charging of the starter battery.
