Cushions filled with exceptional benefits Kapok is an exceptional natural material with a range of advantageous properties compared with cotton or synthetic materials traditionally used as filling
Water-repellent and buoyant Kapok does not absorb water! That is why the cushions dry quickly. Only the fabric needs to dry.
Hypoallergenic The fibers contain a bitter substance that has an antibacterial and antimicrobial effect, so fungal spores, bacteria, and dust mites have poor living conditions in kapok.
Organic and gentle Kapok is 100% organic natural material! No chemicals or artificial fertilizers are used in production or processing, which is carried out manually and without waste products.
Comfortable Kapok fibers are waxy hollow tubes with trapped air, creating a highly insulating effect that reflects body heat in a pleasant way. At the same time, kapok is the lightest natural material in the world! It is a full 6 times lighter than cotton, and is silky soft and highly resilient. Kapok also has great buoyancy and floats - which is why it was previously used in life jackets.
