Organic and gentle Kapok is a 100% organic natural material! No chemicals or artificial fertilizers are used in production or processing, which takes place manually and without waste products.
Comfortable Kapok fibers are waxy hollow tubes with trapped air, providing a superb insulating effect that reflects the body's warmth in a pleasant way. At the same time, Kapok is the world's lightest natural material! A full 6 times lighter than cotton, it is silky soft and very elastic. Kapok also has great buoyancy and floats - which is why kapok was previously used in life jackets.
